Vacation Rental Update – Australind Holiday Homes
Last week saw me heading to our vacation rental in Australind (Bunbury), with a borrowed ute full to the brim with new furniture to complete a mini makeover just in time for summer holidays.
The units are owned by a Sheep and Wheat farming family in Arthur River. They have been listed on our website for many years, but together we decided that the furniture needed refreshing with a more modern look to maximise the appeal of these lovely properties for the summer holiday market.
Farmer James met me there with his own ute and handy farm toolbox. What these farming fellas can do with a toolbox!
After an easy 2 hour drive straight down the freeway, I arrived ready to start at 1pm on what we thought would be a reasonably quick job. How wrong we were! After unpacking and screwing new tables and chairs, new lounge tubs, new carpets and art – it was 11pm before the final picture was hung and we could call the job done!
We’re very pleased with the end result, the apartments are now much more stylish but still super comfortable, just what you need in a vacation rental. See what you think, we’d love to hear what you think.
